Building’s History
297 Dupuis was built in 1912. Its original purpose was a schoolhouse named Montfort School. This building was utilized as Vanier City Hall between the years 1972-1986. The structure was also converted into a Police Station. The building today is known as Les Lofts Du Montfort.
Loft Conversion
297 Dupuis was converted into condominium lofts in 1997 by Nicolini Construction Ltd. The conversion created 15 unique residential lofts. No two condominium floor plans are alike in this conversion project. Authentic loft features include: 12 foot ceilings, exposed brick walls, original tin ceilings and wide hallways. Various units include, 2 stories, balconies and terraces.
